Q:Why does my pump automatically shut off within 10 seconds?
A:Some users unplug the cylinder or start the pump without blocking the cylinder, without creating a sealed environment, resulting in complete air pressure leakage. Therefore, the LED cannot detect air pressure and is set to shut down in idle mode.

This isn't particularly good if you are lying down in bed. I find that lying down results in some discomfort including the possibility of testicles getting sucked in as well, which is quite uncomfortable. Sitting up is much better. When you remove the unit, make sure to press the - button to turn off the suction and then the valve button to release the pressure. After the pressure release, you can pop the pump off the top of the calendar to make removal a lot easier.
You NEED lube on both you and the seal. Use a water-based lube every time. I prefer Astroglide. The lube serves two purposes. 1 The obvious is that it helps you to slide in and out of the unit when you are done. Lube also helps create a better seal. It's also very helpful to shave or wax your pubic area as the hair will make getting a good seal more difficult.
Clean up is easy with a damp cloth.
The tube comes off of the power head with a little tug and is a breeze to clean. A little dish soap and some hot water on a sponge pushed through the tube; rinse with hot water and dry with a cloth. The power head will collect a tiny amount of condensation which is wiped off and the set aside to air out until next time.
I used the silicone pads that came with the pump forr a while, but then I found a soft, thick, gel type base that was more comfortable for me to use.
