Edit: got new batteries and the vibrating part works like a charm, and I feel like the vibration is stronger than it was before, so full marks there. Only time will tell if it was 100% the batteries fault, and that it wasn't fried by minor moisture from a faulty item. But as of now, 5 stars.
Final edit: dropped the rating to 4 stars, as after some testing, it seems that the vibrating part drains the battery even if it's not actively running, so the only way to keep it from draining the battery overnight is to take it apart when storing it. Works great, but obviously the circuit has no way to stop the power flow, and rather simply diverts it away from the vibrating mechanism when "turned off."
