It's too tapered at the neck, but learned the hard way after 5 min of ownership. it took a little effort to insert the medium one, so i thought it was secure, but unfortunately it fell out and shattered my tile bathroom floor. :( on the bright side, i love the taper at the tip, the smooth material and the heft... but i'll have to be more careful with the large :/

This was my first starter set. The small size is perfect to start with and I easily moved up to the medium size. The small size is almost too narrow though, it can sometimes slip out. The glass is very smooth. I love how easy they are to clean. The three velvet pouches for storing are a nice bonus.
